Isaiah 61 Mission

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the blind, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.

Isaiah 61 Mission is an international prophetic ministry exercised under the authority of local churches and their pastors worldwide.

The message of restoration through the coming of the Kingdom of God is proclaimed to God’s people within the churches; and to the unsaved through evangelistic crusades.

The proclamation of the Kingdom carries a call to repentance and a seeking of God for personal restoration, as well as spiritual revival within the Body of Christ worldwide.

The coming of the Kingdom is often accompanied by demonstrations of God’s power, with people being healed physically, emotionally and spiritually, as we see them getting saved, delivered from demons and being filled with the Holy Spirit.

This is the message of Isaiah 61 v 1 & 2 which was quoted by Jesus at the start of his ministry when he proclaimed “the year of the Lord’s favour.” (Leviticus 25, the year of jubilee)
